With xNova, you can save exporter profiles to organize your competitive intelligence and quickly access key data on the markets where your competitors are active.

This article will walk you through:

✅ How to save an exporter profile to your list

🌍 How to access the Global Profile of that exporter

⚠️ What to expect in terms of data availability and limitations

✅ Step 1: Save an Exporter Profile to My Lists

  1. Search for an exporter using the search bar or filters (e.g. product, country, company name).

  2. Open the exporter's company profile.

  3. In the top-right corner, click “Save to list”.

  4. Choose a list under “My Lists > Exporters” or create a new one.

  5. Done! The exporter is now saved and accessible anytime under My Lists > Exporters in your sidebar.

💡 Tip: Use lists to group competitors by sector, region, or strategic relevance.

🌍 Step 2: View the Global Profile of an Exporter

Once you've saved an exporter to a list, you can explore their Global Export Profile to see a consolidated view of the markets they’re exporting to.

Here’s how:

  1. Go to My Lists > Exporters.

  2. Select the exporter you want to analyze.

  3. Click the company name to access the Global Profile.

In this view, you'll see:

  • All the countries where this exporter is shipping goods.

  • Key information such as products exported, volume, and market trends—depending on the available data in each market.

⚠️ Important: Global Profile Reflects Only Markets Where We Have Exporter Data

It’s important to note that the Global Profile will only show countries where we can identify the exporter in the trade data. This depends on the type of information available in each market.

For example:

  • In some countries (like Chile), trade data is structured in a way that does not include the “supplier/exporter” column.

  • That means, even if a company is exporting to Chile, it will not appear in the Global Profile for that country because we can't attribute those exports to the specific company.

We are constantly working to expand and improve our data coverage, but not all countries offer the same level of visibility on exporters.

ℹ️ If a competitor is not showing up in a specific country, it might be due to data limitations, not because they aren't exporting there.
