The company browser is available in both Importer Finder and Exporter Finder. It is highly useful for several reasons:
To further investigate an importing company you encountered at a trade show or that has made an inquiry through the web.
To research what a specific competitor is doing in a particular market.
To access this browser, you first need to determine whether you are researching an importer or a competitor.
For importers, head to the Importer Finder and click on the browser. Once the browser opens, above the search bar, you'll find the option to search by product or by company name. Switch to the "search by company name" option, enter the name of the importer you're looking for, and press ENTER.
A dropdown menu will appear with all the companies in our database that match the name. Select the relevant companies and click “See company.”
To see what a competitor is doing in a specific market, head to the Exporter Finder and follow the same steps outlined above for the Importer Finder.
